As a two-time first team All-Gulf South Conference player, Ely posted a .327 career batting average. She hit 23 home runs in her career, 19 of which came in her 2008 season, which ranks as the 10th most in GSC history. Her performance in 2008 led to All-American honors and capped off a two-year career at Valdosta State that included 106 hits, 18 doubles, and four triples.
