Jon was a stalwart on the Blazer teams that dominated the Division II golfi ng world during the mid-1990’s. He earned All-American honors as both a junior and senior with the Blazers and led the squad with a 75.8 strokes per round average as a senior in 1996 while directing the team to a 10th place finish at the NCAA Championship. His score counted in 23-of-31 rounds played that season while he compiled four Top 10 finishes on the year. Jon helped direct the 1995 squad to a third place finish at the 1995 NCAA Championship while averaging 75.9 strokes per round. He saw his score count in 32-of-34 rounds played on the season and tallied four Top 10 finishes on the year while finishing 18th at the NCAA Championships.
