A four-year letterwinner who starred on the football field from 2000 through 2003, Aaron is Valdosta State’s all-time leading rusher with 3,859 yards. He earned All-America honors and was named the Gulf South Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2002 when he rushed for 1,304 yards and 11 touchdowns while also catching 32 passes for 355 yards and three more scores. Aaron also earned All-GSC honors in 2001 and was named the Gulf South Conference’s Running Back of the Decade for the years 2000 through 2009 after leading the conference in rushing yardage for that ten-year period. His name can be found throughout the VSU record book as he is ranked in the top 10 in school history in 21 different single game, single season and career records. He is one of only four Valdosta State players to ever earn GSC Offensive Player of the Year honors.
