Valdosta Athletics

Under the leadership of Coach Thomas Macera, this group lost the first game of the Division II National Tournament before reeling off five consecutive wins to come out of the bottom of the bracket and claim VSU Softball’s first ever National Title! The dominance of this squad was unprecedented, as the team seemed to win every time they took the field. The group lost just five times in 63 games, resulting in an eye-popping 58 total wins.
