Valdosta Athletics

Steve Roberts spent much of his adult life promoting Valdosta State and the Blazer Athletic Department as he served 25 years as the school’s Sports Information Director. Roberts promoted three Harlon Hill Trophy winners, tied for most in the honor’s 21-year history, and worked with the 1979 Baseball, 2004 Football and 2006 Men’s Tennis National Championship squads. He served on the CoSIDA Board of Directors and worked all 274 VSU football games from 1982 to 2005.
