In just two years as a Blazer, Decker set a new mark for career batting average at .413 and for slugging percentage at .792. His outstanding hitting display in two short years included 27 doubles, five triples, and an on-base percentage of .532. In addition, Decker set a slew of single season records with 84 RBI’s in 2009 and 44 extra base hits and 175 total bases in 2010. With 43 home runs and 163 career RBI’s, it’s no surprise that Decker became a two-time All-American and was drafted by Major League Baseball following his career as a Blazer.
