Jeff Agerter went 25-7 as a starting pitcher in 1982-83, leading the Blazers to a 94-36 record. He threw 22 complete games, and was an all-conference and all-region pick. He was also named to a 1982 All-America team.

Agerter becomes the ninth baseball player or coach to be inducted. He established himself as the mainstay of two consecutive Blazer pitching staffs in 1982 and 1983, working 253 innings and compiling records of 13-4 in 1982 and 12-3 in 1983. Each year he started 15 games, and each year he completed 11, leading the Blazers to a two-year record of 94-36. He was an all-conference and all-region selection both seasons and was named to the 1982 All-America team.
