BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Four Blazer baseball players were named to the All-Gulf South Conference Team, as sophomore Dennis Pierce, junior Hunter Stowe, and senior Ryan Romano made First Team All-GSC, while junior Jovanni Canegitta made Second Team All-GSC.
 
Dennis Pierce was named to the First Team at the utility position, as the slugger led the league in RBI with 65. He ranked second in the GSC in slugging percentage (.773), OBP (.540), and OPS (1.313). The Quakertown, Pa. native was sixth in runs scored (55) and home runs (13). Pierce was first on the team in hits with 60 while also leading in triples, homers, RBI, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage. The second Blazer to be named to the All-GSC First Team was designated hitter Hunter Stowe, who started in 42 games and led the team in doubles with 18, which was second in the GSC. Stowe batted .319 and was second on the team in RBI (46), OPS (1.018), slugging percentage (.580), and home runs (six). The final Blazer to be named to First Team was second baseman Ryan Romano, who ranked eighth in the league in batting average with a .392 clip. Romano was also ninth in the league in OBP with a .491. The Tampa, Fla. native tallied 11 doubles, 51 hits, 38 runs, and 27 RBI while starting in 37 games. Right fielder Jovanni Canegitta was named to the Second Team, as Canegitta played in all 44 games while starting in 42 of them during the 2024 campaign. The outfielder from Lakeland, Fla. tallied 51 hits, 40 runs, 11 doubles, and 33 RBI while muscling three home runs.
