VSU's Steel's Diamond at Blazer Park is located on Patterson Street, one mile north of the VSU main campus. Opened in 2000, the beautiful facility seats over 500 and includes lights, press box, concession stand, and public restrooms. Outfield dimensions are 200 feet. The Blazers have had tremendous success at home since the establishment of the facility, racking up 440 wins against just 147 losses and one tie for a .749 winning percentage. Furthermore, Head Coach Thomas Macera has established a 367-85-1 (.811) record at Steel's Diamond since taking over the program in 2006.

The grandstand area at Steel's Diamond surrounds home plate for a stellar view of the action and is complemented by a tailgating section with a great perspective of the field from over the top of the left field wall. Outdoor batting cages accompany the playing field, as does an indoor workout facility, which features full size batting cages and pitching accomodations.
Â
A softball field house is also located in close proximity to Steel's Diamond, which includes locker rooms for both home and visiting teams, umpire locker rooms, staff offices, a lounge area, and an indoor office for athletic trainers.
