VALDOSTA COUNTRY CLUB

The Valdosta Country Club is a private, member-owned club, offering a challenging 27 hole golf course co-designed by Joe Lee and Bobby Weed, driving range, two practice greens, eight tennis courts, state of the art fitness center, short-course Olympic-size swimming pool, baby pool and newly renovated snack bar. The VCC has been an integral part of the community for over 100 years and prides itself on outstanding service in a welcoming atmosphere. Directions to Valdosta Country Club:
  • From I-75 N: Take Exit 22, turn right onto N Valdosta Rd, and travel 2 miles to Country Club Rd.
  • From I-75 S: Take Exit 22, turn left onto N Valdosta Rd, and travel 2 miles to Country Club Rd.
  • Final Turn: Turn onto Country Club Rd and follow to the club
     

From Orlando: 
Begin by making your way to Interstate 75 North, either by connecting from I-4 or Florida’s Turnpike towards Ocala & Gainsville. Continue north for approximately 200 miles staying on I-75 until you reach Exit 22 in Valdosta. Turn right on US HWY 41, turn left on Country Club Drive.  

From Valdosta Airport:  
Exit the airport and turn right onto Airport Road, then quickly turn left onto Madison Highway (US-41/GA-7) heading north two miles. Turn left onto South Patterson Street continuing North/Northeast until you reach Country Club Road. Turn right onto Country Club Road.  

From Birmingham:  
Begin by getting onto Interstate 65 South and follow it briefly before merging onto Interstate 20 East toward Atlanta. Take Interstate 75 South toward Macon and continue on I-75 South for approximately 230 miles until Exit 22 in Valdosta for US-41/Inner Perimeter Road. Take the exit and turn left onto Inner Perimeter Road until Country Club Road. Turn left onto Country Club Road. 

From Jacksonville:  
Take Interstate 10 West toward Lake City. Take the exit to merge onto Interstate 75 North towards Valdosta. Take Exit 22 in Valdosta. Turn right on US HWY 41, turn left on Country Club Drive.  

From Atlanta: 
Begin by getting onto Interstate 75 South heading toward Macon. Stay on I-75 South for approximately 230 miles until you reach Exit 22 in Valdosta for US-41/Inner Perimeter Road. Take the exit and turn left onto Inner Perimeter Road until Country Club Road. Turn left onto Country Club Road.

SPECTATOR GUIDELINES

Spectators must remain on the cart paths or in the rough approximately 15 yards from the players. There may be no communication between players and spectators that could be deemed advice of any nature for the duration of the 18 holes. All institutional personnel, with the exception of the designated coach, are considered spectators. Ringers on electronic devices such as cell phones or pagers must be turned off. Spectators are asked to refrain from smoking near the players.  

Accommodations for Spectators Requiring Special Assistance. 

The DII Men's Golf Committee recognizes the unique circumstances surrounding spectators who may require special assistance in order to watch the championships and strives to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. 

For spectators with accessibility issues, the following protocol has been established with respect to the use of golf carts: 

1. The head coach should request in writing special assistance no later than 5 PM Eastern Time on Friday, May 1, 2025. Requests should be directed to acannavaro@ncaa.org  

2. If use of a cart is approved, only one authorized member of the party will be allowed to drive with the spectator requiring special assistance, and additional members of the party will be required to walk the course.Absolutely no players, parents, coaches, or spectators are allowed to stand on the back of a golf cart anywhere on the premises. Only two people are allowed in a golf cart at one time, no exceptions.  

3. Use of the cart will also require a fee of $40 plus tax to be paid on arrival at the course.
