VALDOSTA, Ga. – The No. 16-ranked Valdosta State softball series opener at Shorter has been cancelled for Friday due to inclement weather.  The series will now be a doubleheader Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m.
 
The Blazers are 30-12 overall and 13-10 in Gulf South Conference play.  Fans can access links to live stats for the games at vstateblazers.com on the softball schedule page. 
 
Following the games tomorrow, VSU returns home to host Albany State in a doubleheader Tuesday at 4 p.m., and will then close the regular season at home Apr. 27-28 versus rival West Georgia.
