VALDOSTA, Ga. - Camp registration is now open for the annual summer VSU Softball Camp with Head Coach Thomas Macera and the Blazer softball staff.

This year, four different three-day camps for campers ages 12-17 will be held during the month of June, with only 10 spots available each week. Each individual camp will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday during each full week of the month of June (see below for dates and times). The three-day camp features quality instruction from Coach Macera, who currently reigns as the one of the winningest active coaches in NCAA Division II. Coach Macera and his staff will teach campers the following:

- Timeless techniques of the modern day hitter, from the correct grip and set-up to the proper bat path and explosive lower half mechanics.
- Proper fundamentals for throwing and taking ground balls and fly balls as well as the proper pitching technique.
- Additional quality instruction from Macera, who coached the Blazers to the 2012 NCAA Division II National Championship

Registration cost is set at $100 per child, and spaces are extremely limited. To secure your spot, contact Macera at 229-563-0599.
