PRIOR TO VALDOSTA STATE: Played two seasons at Kennesaw State where he registered 92 tackles with 62 solo stops finishing in the top five in total tackles for the Owls each season ... Had 5.5 tackles for loss for 19 yards and 0.5 sacks for three years ... Recorded one interception, while knocking down 12 balls and forced two fumbles in 27 games played ... Prior to that, he attended Iowa Central Community College in 2017 where he earned JUCO First Team All-America honors ... Had a national-leading 26 pass breakups and a team-best 105 tackles ... Had 5.5 tackles for loss and forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles ... Had one interception for 55 yards ... Began his career at Chattanooga in 2015 ... HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state honors and all-region accolades for Wayne County HS ... Was a four-year letterwinner and put up big numbers as a senior with 67 tackles, 5 INTs, three forced fumbles and he blocked seven field goals ... Had two kickoffs returned for scores and also lettered in track and field and baseball - earning all-region honors in both sports ... Was named to the Honor Roll.
