VALDOSTA, Ga. – Due to the threat of inclement weather in Valdosta in the latter part of the weekend, the Valdosta State baseball series versus West Alabama has been adjusted.  
 
The Blazers and Tigers now will play a doubleheader on Friday, beginning at 2 p.m. at Billy Grant Field at Tommy Thomas Park and will conclude the series Saturday, Mar. 8 with a single game at 1 p.m.
 
In a very important series, the Blazers currently are 9-9 overall and 7-1 in Gulf South Conference play with a half-game lead over both Delta State and West Alabama who each are 7-2 in league play.  The Tigers are 13-5 overall this season.
