Box Score 2 CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Valdosta State Blazers dropped both games of the doubleheader at #12 Delta State on Friday. Valdosta State dropped to 13-12 overall and 9-4 in the GSC while Delta State improved to 19-5 overall and 12-2 in the GSC.
DSU starter Drake Fontenot improved to 6-0 as he went 7.1 innings and allowed three hits and three walks while striking out four. Despite a strong start from
Zac Dodson, he dropped to 3-4 overall in his seventh start as he logged 6.0 innings of work and allowed three earned runs while fanning four. Blazer leadoff hitter
Pedro Moreno went 3-4 with a double as the rest of the lineup went 1-25.
In game two, VSU starter
