VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State men's golf team fired a final round 301 and finished 16
th with a 54-hole score of 902 on the par 72, 7,365-yard Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. Top-ranked Georgia Southwestern won the 18-team tournament with a 6-under 858 score.
The Hurricanes carded a 7-under for the final round Tuesday as GSW's Vincent Norman took home medalist honors with a 6-under 210. No. 6 Columbus State finished second at 866, followed by No. 14 West Florida at 868 for third. No. 2 Barry was fourth with an 872 score, while No. 16 Saint Leo rounded out the top five with an 873 score.
Following Norman on the leaderboard, Columbus State's Ronan Kleu move up ten spots and tied for second with a final round 68 and a 3-under 213 score, along with Davide Longhini of Saint Leo and Juan Ignacio de Giacomi of West Florida. GSW's Saksit Jairak fired the low-round of the day of a 67 to move into a tie for fifth as he jumped 19 spots for a 2-under 214.

AJ Ouimet fined a final round 76 and finished tied for 42
nd to lead the Blazers. He finished with a 224 score (76-72-76), while sophomore
Gage Smith tied for 52
nd with a 226 score (79-73-74). Junior

th with a 222 score on rounds of 75, 74 and 73.
The Blazers return to action at the Argonaut Invitational Apr. 6-7 at Pensacola Country Club in Pensacola, Fla.
