PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Valdosta State men's golf team finished with an 884 score and 11
th place at the 2026 Argonaut Invitational hosted by top-ranked West Florida on the par 72, 6,903-yard Pensacola Country Club course.
The host Argonauts won the 15-team tournament with a 25-under 839 score, edging No. 3 Lee by three strokes (842). There was a tie for third between No. 9 Saint Mary's (Texas) and No. 4 Florida Southern at 16-under 848, while No. 5 Wingate was fifth at 853. No. 10 Columbus State finished sixth at 3-under with an 861 score, while No. 6 Georgia Southwestern was seventh at 863 for all teams under par.
GSW's Sacha Corlouer won the tournament with an 11-under 205, edging both UWF standout Cooper Tendick and Lee's Drew Zleinski by one stroke. St. Mary's Guillaume Paquette and Florida Southern's Tyler Mistretta finished tied for fourth at 9-under 207.

William Carestam, fired a final round 3-under 69 to finish tied for 15
th with a 3-under 213 on rounds of 72, 72 and 69. Blazer junior
Alexander Nilehn finished tied for 30
th with a 218 score on rounds of 70, 74 and 74. Junior
Adam Waller tied for 60
th with a 225 score on rounds of 75, 72 and 78. Senior
Elad Sebbag finished 68
th with a 228 score on rounds of 76, 72 and 80. Senior
Joshua Burki tied for 84
th with rounds of 77, 78 and 84 for a 239 score, while junior
Nick Mueller finished 86
th playing as an individual with a 240 score on rounds of 76, 86 and 78.
The Blazers completed the 2025-26 regular season and now will prepare for the 2026 GSC Championship set for Apr. 20-22, 2026, at Grey Stone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn.
