VSU enters the contest with a 7-2 record overall and a 4-2 mark in GSC play while the Panthers are 6-4 on the season and 3-3 versus league foes.
Valdosta State is currently out-scoring opponents 35.6 to 15.9 points per game. On the year, the Blazers featue a balanced offense as they run for 222.4 yards per game while passing for 247.1.
Jake Medlock has completed 122 of his 176 passes for 1,532 yards and has run for 473 yards on the year. He has passed for 14 touchdowns and ran for five more.
Austin Scott leads the team with 588 rushing yards along with three scores and
Cedric O'Neal is just behind at 575 yards to go along with six scores.
Chris Anderson leads the receivers with 46 receptions for 540 yards and has three touchdowns while

The Blazer Black Swarm defense, which surrenders 127.3 rushing yards and 207.6 passing yards a game, has caused havoc for opposing offenses as it has recorded 56 tackles for loss on the year.
Kenny Murphy has recorded a team-high 64 tackles while
Justin Williams has 61 tackles. The VSU defense has tallied 20 turnovers on the season, including 13 fumble recoveries and seven interceptions, while also registering 16 sacks.
Florida Tech features an explosive offense that averages 485.9 yards of total offens as the Panthers rush for 199.3 yards a game while passing for 286.6 and averaging 36.3 points an outing. Meanwhile, FIT surrenders 169.1 yards on the ground and 226.6 through the air and gives up 29.5 points a game.
Freshman quarterback Mark Cato, who has been named the GSC Freshman of the Week eight times this year, has passed for 2,616 yards and 30 touchdowns on the season. Xavier Milton leads the receiving corps with 1,011 yards while linebacker Chris Stapleton has 78 tackles, including five sacks.
