TUNICA, Miss. – On a very windy day where all of the scores were elevated, the No. 32 Valdosta State men's golf team fired a 308 for a 36-hole team score of 604 and sits fifth heading into the final round of the 2025 Gulf South Conference Men's Golf Championship on the par 72, 7,204-yard Tunica National Golf Club. No. 2-ranked West Florida leads the nine-team field with a 4-under 572.

Delta State and No. 7 Lee each shot 301s on Friday as the Statesmen sit second at 600, followed by Lee at 602. Montevallo shot a 310 score Friday for fourth at 603, while VSU is fifth just one stroke behind. Trevecca Nazarene is sixth at 606, followed by Union (609), Christian Brothers (622) and Mississippi College (652).
Individually, West Florida's Eddie Lee and teammate Fabian Wennerlof each are 2-under at 142, while UWF's TJ Thomson is 1-under 143. Montevallo's Eric Boutwell and Lee's George Cordall are tied for fourth at even par 144.

Elad Sebbag is tied for seventh to pace the Blazers with a 4-over 148 on rounds of 72 and 76. Sophomore
Adam Waller is tied for 16
th with rounds of 74 and 77 for a 151 score, as is sophomore

th with a 154 score on rounds of 72 and 82. Senior

The Blazers will tee off at 11:10 a.m. on Saturday for the final round starting on the first hole as the team will be playing with Montevallo and Trevecca Nazarene.
