VALDOSTA, Ga. – Due to forecast inclement weather for the latter half of the weekend, the Valdosta State softball series with No. 22 West Alabama has been moved to a Friday-Saturday series.  
 
The series now is scheduled for a doubleheader Friday at 3 p.m. at Steel's Diamond at Blazer Park, followed by a single game scheduled for Saturday at 12 p.m.  Fans can access links to live stats, audio/video streaming, ticket information and more at vstateblazers.com.  
 
VSU enters with an 8-11 record overall and a 4-4 mark in Gulf South Conference play, while West Alabama is 14-6 overall and 7-2 in league play.
