VALDOSTA, Ga. – Due to the threat of inclement weather late in the weekend, the Valdosta State softball series with Mississippi College has been moved to a doubleheader Friday beginning at 1 p.m. at Steel's Diamond at Blazer Park, followed by a single game Saturday at 12 p.m.
 
This is a huge series for both teams as VSU enters at 18-12 overall and 13-4 in Gulf South Conference play one half game out of first place, while MC is 24^th nationally at 24-8 overall and tied for the league-lead at 14-4 in GSC play as the Choctaws have won 15-straight games.
