KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Valdosta State senior guard Carlos Hart has been named to the NABC Division II All-District Second Team, announced Monday morning by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
 
This award is voted upon by NABC-member coaches across Division II. This is yet another award for Hart, who was named to the D2CCA All-South Region First Team along with First Team All-GSC and All-Tournament Team for the GSC Tournament.
 
Hart is the first Blazer named to the NABC All-District team since Imoras Agee was selected to the first team in 2020-21. Hart is the seventh player under head coach Mike Helfer to be named to an NABC All-District team since 2010-11.
 
Hart led the Blazers in numerous categories as Valdosta State made their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2021 and took the team to the conference finals since 2021. Hart led the team in points per game (19.2), rebounds per game (6.8), assists per game (3.9), and steals per game (2.6). VSU broke a school record for most points in a season at 2,981 and points per game with 93.2 per game. Defensively, Hart set the single season record for total steals at 83 as the team also broke a single season for steals in a season at 358 across 32 games.
