VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State men's golf team fired a final round 281 to finish 12
th at the 2025 First Federal Southeastern Collegiate hosted by VSU at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.
VSU got better each round beginning with a 14-over 302 and then carded a 295 and then the 281 for a 14-over 878 score. West Florida won the 16-team tournament with a 21-under 843, followed by Lincoln Memorial at 19-under 845. Georgia Southwestern finished third at 17-under 847, while Lee was fourth at 16-under 848. Rollins rounded out the top five at 865 tying with Florida Southern. Nova Southeastern was seventh at 866, followed by Barry (868), while Columbus State was ninth at 870 and Union was tenth at 875.
Individually, UWF's Cooper Tendick won medalist honors with an 11-under 205. LMU's Jamie Dean was second at 9-under 207, while there was four-way tie for third at 6-under 210. A total of twenty athletes shot under par and an additional three were at even par.

Alexander Nilehn finished tied for 29
th with a final round 69 to finish at 218 (75-74,69). Senior
Parker Highsmith carded a final round 71 to finish tied for 37
th with a 219 score on rounds of 75-73-71. Junior
Adam Waller tied for 40
th at 220 on rounds of 75-75-70, while senior
Brandon Cho tied for 60
th with a 224 score on rounds of 77-77-70 and sophomore
Landon Bassford tied for 76
th with a 229 score on rounds of 83-73-71.
Playing as individuals for the Blazers, junior
Joshua Burki tied for 55
th with a 223 score on rounds of 73-77-73, while junior
Ty Folsom finished tied for 60
th at 224 on rounds of 77-70-77 and senior
Gage Winkler tied for 80
th at 230 on rounds of 81-74-75.
The Blazers head to the Bobcat Invitational, Mar. 17-18 at Cuscowilla Golf Club in Eatonton, Ga.
