VALDOSTA, Ga. – With the 2025 Valdosta State softball home-opener just over 48 hours away, there are a few changes fans will see for this season.

First, due to ongoing construction near the softball facility, NO parking is available beyond the outfield fence this season. Spectators can park in the Steel's Diamond/Billy Grant Field Parking lot on a first-come-first-served basis.

Additional parking is available at Regions Bank after 4 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and after 5 p.m. on Friday. For the weekend, the lot is available after 12 p.m. on Saturday and all day Sunday.  Parking also is available at Valdosta Middle School across Patterson Street, after 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets for the games this season are required for admission to VSU softball and must be purchased at the game.  Tickets are NOT available online for VSU softball.  The box office will open 60 minutes prior to each game and the prices are $5 for an adult, $3 for a youth/senior, while children under the age of four are admitted free.  Active-duty military and immediate family members also are free.

This season, VSU is introducing a new baseball/softball crossover price where one ticket price can get into both baseball and softball when they are playing simultaneously.  The crossover price is $8 for adults and $5 for youth/senior.

Pets are prohibited at all VSU softball games.  Service animals as defined by Americans with Disabilities Act are permitted.

Season tickets can be purchased at the gate or by calling 229-333-SEAT (7328).

VSU opens the home slate on Saturday at 1 p.m. versus No. 12 Trevecca Nazarene with a doubleheader, followed by a single game Sunday at 1 p.m.
