Blazer Men’s Golf Tenth Following Two Rounds of NCAA National Preview

BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The Valdosta State men's golf team fired a 4-under 572 for the first two rounds of the 2025 NCAA National Preview on the par 72, 7,421-yard Boulder Creek Golf Club.  VSU is tenth heading into Tuesday's final round.
 
Chico State leads the 17-team field with a staggering 547 score leading the field by 11 strokes as Midwestern State is second at 18-under with a 558.  Lynn sits third at 559, while Cal State East Bay is fourth at 560.  Missouri S&T rounds out the top five with a 563 score.
 
Georgia Southwestern sits sixth at 564, while Cal State San Bernardino and Colorado State-Pueblo are tied for seventh at 566.  Host Missouri-Saint Louis is ninth at 6-under 570, followed by VSU at 572.  Flagler is 11th at even par 576. 
 
Individually, Chico State's Ben Mouser leads the field with a 10-under 134, while Midwestern State's Seth Bearden is second at 9-under 135.  There was a three-way tied for third at 8-under, a tie for sixth at 7-under and a three-way tie for eighth at 6-under.
 
Blazer junior Alexander Nilehn sits tied for 18th at 3-under 141 on rounds of 71 and 70 to lead the team.  Junior William Carestam is tied for 28th with a 2-under 142 (70-72), while senior Elad Sebbag is 39th at even par 144 with rounds of 75 and 72.   Blazer senior Joshua Burki is tied for 64th with a 148 score on rounds of 79 and 69.  Senior Adam Waller is tied for 92nd with a 159 score on rounds of 76 and 83.
