VALDOSTA, Ga. - Blazer MBB Graduate student JC Clausi and Lady Blazer senior India Jordan have been named this week's Steel's Jewelry Athletes of the Week.

Currently on a seven-game winning streak, Clausi tied a career-high 18 points in the No. 18 men's basketball win versus Christian Brothers on Saturday evening. The guard from Franklin, Tenn. saw no action in the first half but played nearly 15 minutes in the second and took full-advantage. Clausi went 7-10 from the floor and 4-5 from distance including a stretch where he scored eight straight points in three possessions. 

India Jordan scored a career-high 24 points on 8-11 from the floor and a scorching 6-8 from distance en route to a 97-62 thumping of Christian Brothers on Saturday afternoon. Against No. 12 Union on Thursday, Jordan scored 11 points on 5-8 from the floor and 1-4 from three while she also tallied two steals and an assist in 21 minutes of action off the bench.

Both teams hit the road this week, as they travel to Alabama on take on Montevallo on Thursday, Jan. 16 before taking on Auburn Montgomery on Saturday, Jan. 18.
