EATONTON, Ga. – The Valdosta State men's golf team fired a final round 287 and finished 12
th at the Bobcat Invitational Tuesday on the par 70, 6,701-yard Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee Golf Course. Georgia Southwestern won the 15-team title with an 851 score.
Following GSW, North Georgia and Florida Southern tied for second (858), followed by West Florida (860) and Nova Southeastern rounded out the top five (864). USC Aiken was sixth (865), followed by Lander (866), Saint Leo (869), Barry (870) and Coker was tenth at 875. Rollins was two strokes ahead of VSU (877), followed by the Blazers, Flagler (886), Columbus State (893) and host Georgia College was 15
th at a 914 score.
Individually, UNG's Will Chambless won medalist honors with a final round 69 to finish at 2-under 208. Florida Southern's Adam Alvarez finished 1-under at 209 for second, while there was a three-way tie for third at even par. VSU junior
Brandon Cho fired a final round 71 and moved up four spots to finish tied for eighth with a 214 score (71, 72, 71).

Alexander Nilehn finished tied for 37
th on rounds of 72, 78 and 71 for a 221 score, while freshman
Adam Waller tied for 49
th with a 223 score on rounds of 73, 76, 74. Sophomore
Joshua Burki tied for 59
th at 225 on rounds of 75, 79, 71 and sophomore
Ty Folsom tied for 63
rd at 226 after carding scores of 74, 76, 76.
