VALDOSTA, Ga.- The No. 13 Valdosta State softball team added a single game against Barry University, set for Tuesday, Mar. 7 at 4 p.m. at Steel's Diamond at Blazer Park.

The matchup with Barry was rescheduled from the opening weekend of the season as the Blazers were set to play at Barry, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather. 

The Buccaneers travel to  No. 2 North Georgia in Dahlonega, Ga., for a doubleheader on Monday, Mar. 6, before facing VSU Tuesday. 

Prior to facing Barry at home on Mar. 7, the Blazers will embark in a three-game, Gulf South Conference series at Shorter scheduled for a doubleheader on Saturday, Mar. 4 at 1 p.m., followed by a single game Sunday, Mar. 5 also at 1 p.m.  Following the game against Barry on Tuesday, VSU continues at home on Thursday, Mar. 9 versus No. 3 Tampa in a huge regional doubleheader and then remains at home for a three-game series Mar. 11-12 versus West Georgia for the Red Clay Rivalry Series.
