VALDOSTA, Ga.- Multiple student athletes from Valdosta State's spring sports, as well as VSU Director of Athletics, Herb Reinhard, visited Langdale Place Senior Living Community on Monday afternoon as part of the community's monthly "Langdale U" Day where members of the Valdosta community are asked to speak on their occupation to Langdale Place's residents. 

This month, Reinhard and a collection of student athletes including Blazer basketball junior Jay Rucker, Lady Blazer basketball junior Emma Martin, Blazer baseball senior Carson Neal and Blazer softball junior Morgan Hill attended the monthly event.  Reinhard and each of the Blazer student athletes were able to speak on Valdosta State Athletics, as well as invite the members of Langdale Place to upcoming athletic events.  Members of the community were also able to ask questions and meet with each of the Blazers after the event. 

After the event, Rucker stated "I want to thank Langdale for having us today. It was a great experience and really enjoyed seeing the smiles on their faces. I'm glad that I was given the opportunity to speak in the community."
