VALDOSTA, Ga. – The NCAA Division II Football Selection Show is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sunday evening, Nov. 12, and streamed live on NCAA.com.
 
The Blazers, (9-1, 6-1 GSC) host West Georgia Saturday evening in the final regular season game for both teams as they compete for the Peach Basket and the Red Clay Rivalry Series.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.  
 
VSU, ranked No. 17 in the latest D2Football.com Top 25 and 19^th in the American Football Coaches Association Top 25, enter the game No. 3 in the latest NCAA Super Region Two rankings and have a chance at hosting the first round of the playoffs next weekend with a win Saturday.  West Georgia is 6-3 overall and 5-2 in GSC play, is playing its final regular season game as a Division II member on Saturday before it transitions to NCAA Division I beginning in 2024-25.
