EATONTON, Ga. – The Valdosta State men's golf team fired a 36-hole score of 581 (294-287) and is 11
th heading into the final round of the Bobcat Invitational on the par 70, 6,730-yard Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee Golf Club.
Barry leads the 15-team field with a 557 score, while Clayton State is second at 562, followed by West Florida at 563. Lander sits fourth at 565, while Georgia Southwestern rounds out the top five with a 570 score.
Individually, Barry's AJ Ewart leads the field with a 7-under 133 on rounds of 65 and 68, while UWF's Chris Ayers is second at 4-under 136. Lincoln Memorial's Luke Harries is third at 3-under 137.

Wesley Hanson is tied for eighth with a pair of 70s and a 140 score for even par. Senior
Gage Smith is tied for 34
th with a 145 score on rounds of 75 and 70, while sophomore
Ryan Pollman is tied for 62
nd with a 150 score after firing rounds of 75 and 75. Junior
Chase Weathers also is tied for 62
nd with a 150 score after carding rounds of 74 and 76. Freshman
Peyton Balent is tied for 68
th with a 153 score on rounds of 81 and 72.
