Blazer Baseball Canceled Due to Inclement Weather

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The last game of its weekend away series for the Valdosta State baseball team has been canceled due to inclement weather.
 
The Blazers swept the doubleheader against the Flames yesterday, Feb. 26, topping Lee 8-7 in game one and 4-3 in game two.
 
VSU improved to 9-4 on the season and 4-1 in Gulf South Conference play while the Flames dropped to 8-5 overall and 2-2 in the GSC.
 
The Blazers are back in action again on Wednesday, Mar. 2 on the road in St. Augustine, Fla. as they take on Flagler College at 5 p.m.
 
Following the away weekday game, the Blazers host Montevallo the following weekend at Billy Grant Field at Tommy Thomas Park. The series begins with a single game on Fri., Mar 4, at 5 p.m. and will finish with a doubleheader on Sat., Mar. 5, starting at 1 p.m.
