GSC Announces GSC/SSC Crossover Matchups

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference announced the official schedule of the 2022 South Region Crossover Challenge, set to take place this weekend at the Finley Center in Hoover, Ala.   The GSC and the Sunshine State Conference alternate hosting responsibilities each year, as all schools in each conference participate in the annual event.  Since the GSC has 12 teams and the SSC has 11, one team is invited to fill out the 24 slots for the tournament. Spring Hill College, a GSC affiliate will fill in the final spot.      Each team will have three matches played out over the course of Friday and Saturday, as some teams will play two matches Friday while the others have their doubleheader day Saturday.  

Valdosta State (8-14, 2-7 GSC) is scheduled to play one match Friday and two Saturday, as the Blazers open with Saint Leo (5-12, 1-8 SSC) at 2:30 p.m. ET before taking on Florida Tech (8-9, 3-6 SSC) at 10 a.m. ET and Rollins (4-13, 2-7 SSC) at 5:45 p.m. ET on Saturday.

  All matches will be streamed live through BallerTV with a paid subscription. For questions or issues with BallerTV, please contact their support team For fans planning on attending this weekend's matches, tickets for the event are available online through ETIX. Fans will have two options: Daily Pass ($10) or Event Pass ($15). Children ages 5 and under are free.
