2019 NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship

VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State Cheerleading Team and The Red Hots head to the NCA/NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship, April 4-6 in Daytona Beach, Fla.  
 
The Blazer Cheer Team will perform at 10:10 a.m. at the Band Shell on Thursday in Intermediate All-Girl Division II, while the Red Hots will do their Jazz routine at 1:22 p.m., at the Dance Hall. The Red Hots also will compete on Friday in the Hip Hop Division II at 5:41 p.m., also in the Dance Hall.  Should the Cheer Team advance, the finals are scheduled for Friday, while the finals for Jazz for the Red Hots is on Friday and the Hip Hop finals are scheduled for Saturday.
 
The VSU Red Hots are looking for their third-straight national title as they brought home titles in 2017 and 2018 in the Hip Hop Division. VSU finished third in Jazz in 2017 and eighth in 2018.
