THE LEAD: The Valdosta State Blazers volleyball team fell on Tuesday night, in a loss over Gulf South Conference foe Auburn Montgomery.

First Set:
- AUM used a .438 hitting percentage and 16 kills to pull away with the first set.
- The Warhawks held off a late rally to defeat VSU in the first set.
- VSU hit .226 in the first set, dooming the Blazers.
Second Set:
- The Blazers fought early in the second set, as they were able to string multiple runs together to pull away from the Warhawks.
- Seven errors hurt AUM, as VSU started to pull away.
- VSU finished off the Warhawks in the second set with a .226 hitting percentage and ten kills.

Third Set:
- AUM jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead.
- VSU attempted to comeback, but was limited by a 0.00 hitting percentage
- The Warhawks ran away with the third set, 25-9.
Fourth Set:
- The Warhawks used another quick start to take the momentum early in the fourth set.
- VSU rallied multiple times, but a .219 hitting percentage hurt the Blazers.
- AUM finished off VSU with 16 kills.

- The Blazers finished with 41 kills and a .167 hitting percentage
- Senior Dariah Powell tallied a double-double (11 kills and 18 digs)
- Senior Kayla Widera totaled five blocks, four aces and one assist.
- Junior Tammy Reyes Perez totaled 26 assists and two aces.
