VALDOSTA, Ga.- The Valdosta State Blazers women's basketball team is set for its first road trip of the season as they travel to Boca Raton, Fla to face Lynn University. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
 
Who is Lynn?
 

• The Fighting Knights are coming off a 81-66 loss to Benedict.
• Senior forward Sarah Baer posted a double-double in the loss with 16 points and 16 rebounds.
• Senior forward Sydney Fields and junior forward Uloma Enyogasi were also in double figures with 11 and 14 points, respectively.
• Lynn knocked down 11 three-pointers against Benedict.
• The Fighting Knights hold a 1-1 record overall.

 
Who is VSU?
 

• VSU opened the season with two wins over Albany State and Fort Valley State.
• Junior guard Kayla Bonilla returns to the team after sitting out the first three games of the season.
• Senior Cheray Saunders (17.0 ppg) and junior Kayla Frey (16.0 ppg) have emerged as the top two scoring options for the Lady Blazers
• Frey tallied a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds against Albany State.
• Saunders has been the complete package so far for the Lady Blazers, averaging 17 points, 4.5 assists, and three rebounds per game.
