In 2019-20 as a Senior: Finished second on the team in scoring at 15.5 points per game ... Was the only player on the team to play and start all 29 games ... Knocked down a team-best 164 field goals in 354 attempts for a team-best .463 average ... Went 17 of 52 from beyond the arc ... Was second on the team in free throws made at 105 of 160 (.656) ... Averaged a team-high 6.2 rebounds per game, along with 59 assists for second on the team ... Led the team with 61 steals .... Led the team with 26 games in double figures and scored 20 or more points in seven contests ... Went a season-best 11 of 16 from the field in her first game as a Blazer against Fort Valley State (11/8/19) in the season-opener ... Scored a season-high 28 points against FVSU ... Was a season-best 12 of 15 from the line against Lynn (11/15/19) ... Had three double-doubles on the year with a season-high 16 rebounds at West Georgia (1/16/20) ... Finished seventh in the GSC in made field goals (164) and was ninth in the league in steals (61).  

Prior to Valdosta State: Saunders spent three seasons at Nova Southeastern…Saw action in 25 games with one start… averaged 5.1 points per game on 43.1 percent (50-of-116) shooting from the field … collected 46 rebounds with 42 assists… made 28 steals, the third-highest on the team, while making nine blocks…Saw action in 24 games, making 17 starts as a sophomore… averaged 9.0 points per game and pulled down 93 rebounds, second-highest on the team… she also recorded 40 steals, a team-high…as a freshman she played in 29 games with three starts, averaging 5.4 points and 20.4 minutes per game during her freshman campaign.

High School: A four-year varsity player for the Indians, Saunders also competed in volleyball for three years and softball for one… holds the title of all-time leading scorer at Farmington HS… awarded the title of FHS Outstanding Female Athlete as a senior… recorded an average 24 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.5 steals per game and picked up all-conference and all-state honors in her final season.
