First Set:

• UWF used a .300 hitting percentage and 13 kills to pull away with the first set.
• The Blazers struggled, committing nine errors.
• VSU only hit .061 in the first set, dooming the Blazers.

Second Set:

• The Blazers struggled in the second set, but were able to string together a couple of runs to keep it close.
• Eight errors hurt the Blazers, as UWF started to pull away.
• West Florida finished off the Blazers in the second set with a .333 hitting percentage.

 
Third Set:

• UWF jumped out to a quick 8-2 lead.
• The Blazers were held back once again, committing 11 errors.
• VSU's -.121 hitting percentage allowed for UW to take the set and the match.

Inside the Numbers:

• VSU committed 28 errors, with 11 in the third set.
• The Blazers finished with 28 kills and a .000 hitting percentage
• Senior Kayla Widera tallied nine kills and two blocks.
• Junior Rebecca Sills totaled 11 digs, one assist and one ace.
