First Set:
- UWF used a .300 hitting percentage and 13 kills to pull away with the first set.
- The Blazers struggled, committing nine errors.
- VSU only hit .061 in the first set, dooming the Blazers.
Second Set:
- The Blazers struggled in the second set, but were able to string together a couple of runs to keep it close.
- Eight errors hurt the Blazers, as UWF started to pull away.
- West Florida finished off the Blazers in the second set with a .333 hitting percentage.

Third Set:
- UWF jumped out to a quick 8-2 lead.
- The Blazers were held back once again, committing 11 errors.
- VSU's -.121 hitting percentage allowed for UW to take the set and the match.
Inside the Numbers:
- VSU committed 28 errors, with 11 in the third set.
- The Blazers finished with 28 kills and a .000 hitting percentage
- Senior Kayla Widera tallied nine kills and two blocks.
- Junior Rebecca Sills totaled 11 digs, one assist and one ace.
