Hoover, Ala.- The Valdosta State Blazers volleyball team dropped its final match in the Gulf South Conference and Sunshine State Conference crossover tournament. The Blazers fell in three sets to Lynn University.
 
THE BASICS
 Score: Valdosta State 0, Lynn 3 (11-25, 13-25, 20-25)
Records: Valdosta State (11-12) ,  Lynn (14-4)

First set:

• The Blazers struggled with a  -.211 hitting percentage.
• Seven errors plagued the Blazers in the loss.
• Lynn hit .267 during the first set

Second Set:

• Lynn held the Blazers to a -.037 hitting percentage, while the Fighting Knights hit ..364
• VSU only tallied five kills.
• Lynn committed three errors compared to the Blazers six errors.

Third Set:

• VSU improved its hitting percentage  to .393.
• The Blazers totaled 12 kills, which was a set high.
• VSU only committed one error.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:  

• VSU tallied 20 kills in 74 attempts, for a .081 hitting percentage.
• 14 errors plagued the Blazers in the loss.
• Junior Tammy Reyes Perez totaled 16 assists.
