The Lead: The Valdosta State volleyball team closed the 2018 Holiday Inn VSU Fall Volleyball Classic with a 3-0 win over Albany State Saturday Afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Blazers dominated the match as they had their best offensive performance of the season, hitting .427 with 38 kills on 75 swings with just six errors.
- ASU hit .000 with 17 kills and 17 errors in the match.
- Blazer senior Chloe Chubilleau tallied 11 kills and narrowly missed a double-double with a team-high nine digs.
- Sophomore Tammy Reyes-Perez had 30 assists in the match with six digs.
- ASU's Jannai Cheeks led the Golden Rams with six kills, while Ciara Chapman had 14 assists and Cheeks led the team with 10 digs.
- The Blazers held ASU to just 29 points scored for the match as VSU won 25-10, 25-14 and 25-5, marking the largest margin of victory by set this season.Â
