VALDOSTA, Ga. - In the wake of the looming threat of Hurricane Irma, the Valdosta State Athletic Department is welcoming all evacuees from the affected areas outside of the Lowndes County/Valdosta area to our Friday night soccer match. As our special guests, free admission will be provided to each of our attending evacuees. In order for individuals to claim a free general admission ticket, a driver's license will need to be shown upon arrival. Family members of a valid license holder will also be admitted free of charge.
Evacuees may claim their free ticket at the ticket booth located at the main entrance of The VSU Soccer Complex. The match is scheduled for Friday night at 7:00 p.m., with the undefeated Blazers set to open up their 2017 Gulf South Conference schedule against the visiting Montevallo Falcons. Ticket gates will open one hour prior to kickoff, with overflow parking available at the VSU parking deck behind the Campus Recreation building at 1300 Sustella Ave., 31601.
