Izabella De Lima joined Valdosta State after a four-year career at the University of South Carolina at Aiken, where she established herself as a reliable defensive specialist and serving threat, all while being president and treasurer of the SAAC. Over 48 career matches, she totaled 122 digs, 22 service aces, and nine assists, highlighted by a career-best 2024 season in which she averaged 1.38 digs per set and recorded a career-high 14 digs, along with five assists and three aces in the Peach Belt Conference Semifinals against Flagler. She also posted 12 digs in the NCAA Tournament against Lander. A native of Sanford, Florida, De Lima attended Seminole High School, where she earned Best Defensive honors twice and was named to an all-tournament team while competing for 18-1 Rox Gamepoint Volleyball. She graduated from USC Aiken with a degree in communications with a focus in psychology and brings valuable collegiate experience and defensive leadership to the Blazers.
