2019-20: Saw action in 11 games before a season-ending injury sidelined her the rest of the way ... Started the first four games of the season ... Scored a season-high eight points twice and had a season-high ten rebounds in the upset win over No. 4 Lee (12/17/19) ... Recorded four made field goals twice on the year, while recording two assists four times on the year, while recording one block and a season-high three steals in the opener against Fort Valley State (11/08/19) ... Saw a season-high 26 minutes twice on the year. 

Prior to Valdosta State: Patu played two seasons at Saint Martin’s… As a junior Patu averaged 12.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest…was named 2018 GNAC Freshman of the Year and to the 2019 GNAC All-Academic Team…averaged 14.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game as a freshman.

High School: After playing for four different high schools, Simpson ended her senior year at Rainier Beach High School... Averaged 16.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game... Ranked the 46th best recruit in Washington by MaxPreps in 2016
