Shawn Glosek was hired in February on 2023 at Valdosta State to coach running backs. Prior to VSU Shawn was on the Washington and Jefferson football staff in the fall of 2020 as an assistant coach working with the quarterbacks and tight ends.
Following the 2021 season, Glosek was promoted to passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He has helped guide six all conference players over his time at W&J, and assisted in W&J’s ECAC bowl win over Hobart College in 2022.
Glosek came to W&J from Dickinson College, where he served as the wide receivers coach since June 2019. He coached two All-Centennial Conference wide receivers during the 2019 season with the Red Devils. He oversaw the recruitment of student-athletes from Scranton, Pa. and Central Pa. in addition to student-athletes from Illinois and California.
Prior to his time at Dickinson, Glosek worked in roles at Lehigh University and Kutztown University. Before that he was an assistant coach for Bethlehem Catholic High School, who earned the District XI Championship and reached the PIAA Semifinals in 2017. He worked primarily with the offensive line and special teams unit while at Bethlehem Catholic.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Communications from Kutztown University in 2019.
