Gregory Hudgins is beginning his first season as a Graduate Assistant with the football program at Valdosta State University.
In 2025 Hudgins, who had previously been a member of the Blazers, was team captain and was awarded Second Team All-Gulf South Conference status after making 46 tackles and 10.5 tackles for loss. He also contributed to Valdosta State's victory in the GSC championship, and thus ended his playing career as a two-time conference champion.
Before joining Valdosta State, Hudgins played for Purdue, taking part in six games over the course of three seasons.
Hudgins is bringing with him valuable experience gained as a defensive lineman and having previously played with the Blazers as he starts his coaching career at Valdosta State.
