Gabe Martorano

Gabriel Martorano joins the Valdosta State Football staff as a Graduate Assistant as an Assistant Defensive Backs Coach.

Prior to Valdosta: Gabriel Martorano joined the Alvernia University football staff as the Quarterback Coach in 2020. Martorano would go on to coach both QBs and WRs during the 2021 season before transitioning to WR Coach under Alvernia’s New Head Coach. During The 2022 season, Martorano would coach Alvernia’s first All-Conference WR selection in program history, as he helped lead Alvernia University to its most successful season in program history. Martorano has also held the titles of JV Offensive Coordinator, Video Coordinator and Community Service Coordinator during his time at Alvernia. A native of Blackwood, NJ; Martorano played college football at King's College and then at the College of New Jersey. At TCNJ, Martorano played Quarterback and Wide Receiver while being involved with various leadership and community service groups on campus. He graduated from the College of New Jersey in December of 2020 with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Pre-Law, Politics, and Philosophy
