PRIOR TO VALDOSTA STATE: Graduate transfer from San Jose State...Also played at El Camino College in 2018...Had six appearances in 2021 for SJSU with seven tackles and two TFLs...In 2021, played in nine games with 14 tackles and two PBUs, while he played in four games in 2019 with five tackles...NFL All-Pro Linebacker Willie McGinest is one of his uncles...In high school was a two-year starting safety at Long Beach (Calif.) Poly High School (Coach Antonio Pierce)...Credited with 50 tackles, seven pass break-ups in his two seasons...Had 35 tackles and two pass breakups in 11 games his senior season and was a first team All-Moore League selection.
