IN 2023 AS A FRESHMAN: Handled the punting duties for the Blazers after transferring from Temple University ... Played in all 14 games ... Finished with 53 punts for a 43.8 average 2,231 yards ... His 43.8 average was good for fifth nationally and tops in the GSC ... Had 16 punts inside the 20, ten over 50 yards and 16 fair catches with just four touchbacks ... He had a long punt of 60 yards at West Alabama (11/4) ... He also has had 40 kickoffs for 2,234 yards and a 55.8 average with 11 touchbacks and two kicks out of play.  Botsford had a season-high eight punts at West Alabama with four inside the 20 in the game and two inside the five ...
