PRIOR TO VALDOSTA STATE: Played in 2018 and 2019 at Toledo where he saw action in 16 games with eight total tackles and five solo stops....Had one tackle for loss for three yards...Three-star recruit according, to Scout.com and 247 Sports…As a senior in 2017, he served as a team captain and helped lead Armwood to a 14-1 record and to Florida’s Class 6A state championship game…Tallied 36 tackles, including 12.0 for loss, and two sacks…For his career, Sutherland totaled 101 tackles, 27.0 TFL, 6.0 sacks, 11 pass breakups, and a 60-yard interception return for a touchdown.
