AS A JUNIOR IN 2011: Played in and started all 10 games ... Recorded 43 tackles on the season, including 28 solos and 15 assists ... Had three interceptions on the season, inlcuding two returned for touchdowns against West Alabama Oct. 15 ... The second was returned 85 yards, the third-longest interception return in school history, and gave the Blazers the needed margin in their one point victory ... Also had seven tackles in that game and was named the Gulf South Conference Player of the Week for his efforts ... Broke up eight passes on the season to move into eighth place all-time on the VSU career list with 24 ... Forced a fumble at Delta State on Oct. 22, a game in which he also had seven tackles, while recovering a fumble and returning it 49 yards for a touchdown against Newberry Sept. 8 ... Returned a kickoff 96 yards for a score in the season finale against North Alabama Nov. 12, tied for the sixth-longest return in VSU history ...
